The tale of bleeding

That moment felt as if it were from another timeline, when she bled for the first time. She adored every facet of how the red fluid floated through space. It made her think about the heights she could shoot towards and the depths she could excavate. It made her boundless. The liquid wasn’t white and thick then. It was red and smooth. There were times when she broke but a person like her won’t give up ever. She got back up again just like it were a piece of pie.

But ,sharp and stiff vines started surrounding her hips pricking her chest everytime she broke. They slowly moved towards the core. Her eyes didn’t bother to look. Her ears stopped listening. Even her mouth gave up. But she didn’t mind as the vines were just pesky little things to her. Gradually without her realising it, her blood was being absorbed.

One day suddenly to her surprise blood stopped flowing, taking her breath away. Finally turning her sight to the vines that now were metal chains, she realized that she’d lost all the blood. All she saw was splashes of the red horror on paper.

The chains around got tighter. She feared them now. The cluster kept on shrinking. It squeezed the white lymph out. No traces of blood, just the lymph which too would soon run out.

She tried to break out but the chains only firmed up, flushing her gut away. She kept on shivering as she looked at the blood on the paper. Until the day it all took a pause. Blood, sweat, tears and finally she herself fell asleep. Not even water came out.
